Platinum for Windows (PFW) is the accounting software by Best Software to interface with Batchmaster.  The user appearance of Platinum for Windows is what Batchmaster for Windows strives to look like so that when the two programs are interfaced, it all looks the same.  User licenses for Platinum are separate from Pervasive SQL and Batchmaster.

Crystal Reports is the software utilized behind the scenes to create reports sales orders invoices purchase orders bill of materials shipping papers batch tickets Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS and many other features.  Crystal Reports will display to the screen print out hard copy to a printer print to a file export to Excel or can be sent via email.  In order to modify reports, your company must have a licensed copy of Crystal Reports.

Custom Crystal Reports are used for your ease of data extraction.  Batchmaster and Platinum software utilize Crystal Reports for most of the screen results and reports which are prepackaged.

Batchmaster and Platinum can be seamlessly integrated.  That is, it appears that both products are the same and utilize a common login screen.

Several other software programs can be utilized to access the files for Batchmaster and Platinum.  However; when this knowledge is put in the hands of a very experienced Batchmaster and Platinum support person, the results can be devastating.
